KELOLAND News, Stormtracker App Helping You Prepare For School

On Monday, school starts for the Mitchell School District, Sioux Falls School District, and the Sioux Falls Catholic Schools, and many other schools start soon after that.

As families in KELOLAND get out of the summer slump and back into the normal routine, the KELOLAND News and Stormtracker App may help you do just that.

Both the KELOLAND News and Stormtracker App can be downloaded on any iOS or Android device just by searching KELOLAND News. Once the app is downloaded you can do just about anything. You can watch newscasts while you get kids ready for school or while making breakfast or pack lunches, you can also check out the news in your community, or even send us the latest news tip.

If you are doing some last minute school shopping, you can check out the “Back To School” tab, that’s where you’ll find your schools supply lists. You don’t have to worry about leaving that behind when you are busy doing your back to school shopping.

If you need to know what weather your community is expecting that day, check out the Stormtracker App. There you can find the hour-by-hour forecast without having to leave your bed. You can even see the latest tweets from our meteorologists, helping you prepare for your day. You have access to our KELOLAND Live Doppler HD radar.
