Sioux Falls, SD
Starting this morning, a portion of I-229 between 10th Street and 26th Street will be down to one lane in each direction.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation is applying a new road surface to the curve north of the 26th Street exit. Officials say that area is notorious for crashes. Drivers should be advised that delays are expected and if possible, should consider an alternate route.
Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month.
