Hundreds Gather For Sioux Falls Pride Festival

Sioux Falls, SD

Today, the Center for Equality and Wells Fargo hosted the 6th annual Sioux Falls Pride Festival.

Many booths lined the grass of McKennan Park, and a wide variety of organizations were represented at today's festival. The goal of the event is to promote equality for LGBT and allied members.

“A lot of people don't realize that they know gay people and I think it's important for people to see that we're just like everybody else. We're your neighbors, your friends, your sisters, your parents,” Former President of the Center for Equality Cheryl Bixby said.

The Pride Festival continues tonight with an after party at the Icon Lounge.
