A massive fire is burning in an industrial area of a North Dakota oil patch town.
Williams County Emergency Manager Mike Hallesy said no one is being allowed within a half-mile of the site, which is just east of Williston's downtown.
Hallesy says the fire at Red River Supply broke out about midnight Tuesday. Explosions could be seen and heard at the scene, but it wasn't immediately clear what caught on fire.
A regional hazardous response team and North Dakota National Guard officials are monitoring air quality. The Dakotas Region Red Cross is responding to the incident with an Emergency Response Vehicle.
Red River Supply's website says it has rail spurs for loading and unloading liquid and dry goods, as well as providing storage, blending and delivery of chemical-laden drilling fluid.
