A counselor who met with Trevor Kruthoff several times following the murder of 20-year-old Jordan LeBeau says the teen would be best served in the juvenile system.
Attorneys for 18-year-old Trevor Kruthoff are trying to move the confessed killer’s case to juvenile court. Kruthoff was 17 years old when he shot and killed Jordan LeBeau during an attempted robbery at LeBeau’s Sioux Falls home in December.
Witnesses: SF Murder Suspect Good Kid With Bad Friends
Counselor Steve Van Bockern testified this morning that based on his consultations with the teen he would recommend that Kruthoff should be prosecuted as a juvenile.

The defense rested its case this morning and the Minnehaha County State’s Attorney’s Office will now call it’s witnesses.
