Escaped Inmate Caught In Beadle County; Search Continues For Second Man

A South Dakota inmate is back in custody a few days after being put on escape status.

The Beadle County Sheriff says a sheriff's deputy and members of the Huron police department caught Sean Kilbourn on Sunday.   The 28-year-old had failed to return to the Sioux Falls Community Work Center at the State Penitentiary last Thursday after looking for work in Sioux Falls.

The other inmate who was put on escape status last week is still on the run.

Michael Clark, age 31, is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Clark is currently serving an 8 year sentence for grand theft out of Charles Mix County and two concurrent 5 year sentences for second-degree burglary out of Miner County.
