Eight People Face Drug Charges After Meth Bust

Sisseton, SD

Authorities in Roberts County believe they've taken several drug dealers and users off the streets.

Suspects in the Sisseton meth bust range in age from 20 to 54.  And at least one of the crimes was committed near a school.

Below is a list of the people arrested and the charges filed against them: 

  • Joseph Jonah Huizinga, 20, Sisseton: one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; one count of possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substances; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jenifer Denise Lang, 26, Sisseton: one count of possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substances; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Anthony Michael Sheffield, 23, St. Paul, MN: one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Peter Charles Stewart, 51, Sisseton: one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substances; one count of distribution in a drug free zone (school); one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
  • Thomas Eugene Thode, 53, Sisseton: one count for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substances; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Gayle Marie Wallin, 54, Sisseton: one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substances.
  • Alexander James Wallin, 23, Sisseton: one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of one count of keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substances.
  • Brandon Michael Wendel, 32, Sisseton: one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
