Co-owner Aaron Hultgren said Friday that Hultgren Construction will "contest both citations, including the proposed penalties."
On May 1, OSHA announced that the company committed two willful violations
by not instructing its employees about unsafe conditions on the Copper Lounge worksite.
The citations issued earlier this month include penalties that add up to $101,400. Hultgren Construction had 15 days to contest the OSHA violations.
In April, Hultgren Construction and Command Center Inc. were fined almost $100,000 for conditions at the Copper Lounge work site prior to the December 2016 that killed worker Ethan McMahon and trapped Emily Fodness in the rubble. This is a developing story.
