Just after midnight Monday morning, officers were called to the area around Louise Avenue and West Kentucky Place. Police were told that two vehicles were driving recklessly across parking lots near 41st Street.
When officers arrived, they found 11 male teenagers between the two vehicles. Capt. Loren McManus said the two groups had met there because of an argument that started via social-media app Snapchat, which led to the chase.
One of the teenagers — a 17-year-old boy — pulled out a handgun and displayed it towards two boys in the other vehicle. He was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault.
All 11 teenagers were charged with curfew violations, McManus said.
