Wessington Springs, SD
We are getting another view of the damage caused by a tornado in Wessington Springs. These aerial shots were taken Thursday showing the path the tornado took through the central South Dakota town.
KELOLAND Photojournalist Mike Simundson was able to fly with the South Dakota National Guard in a Blackhawk Helicopter as they viewed the area.
According to the National Weather Service, the tornado was an EF-2 with a two mile long path that was 30 yards wide with peaks winds of 127 miles per hour.
