3 Injured In Sioux Falls Fire, Man Arrested Trying To "Save" His Beer

Sioux Falls, SD

A total of three people were treated. 2 at the scene, 1 was sent to the hospital.
Three people were treated for their injuries after a fire in an apartment building in central Sioux Falls Sunday afternoon.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a report of smoke coming from a building on Spring Ave. just after 12:30 p.m. Once crews arrived, two people were treated for smoke inhalation on scene, and then another was taken to the hospital. 

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. 

Meanwhile, Sioux Falls police said a person was arrested at the scene of the fire. 

In a tweet, authorities said the person attempted to "save their beer" by pushing past police and firefighters.
