Good Neighbors = Good Heart Health

Sioux Falls, SD

You may not have to exercise and eat right to reduce your risk for a heart attack. You simply have to move in next to the right people.

New research from the University of Michigan shows having good neighbors could be good for your heart.  Researchers tracking the cardiovascular health of 5,000 Americans over four years found that those who were happy with their neighbors and their surroundings actually cut their risk for a heart attack by 67 percent.

Participants were asked to rate their neighbor's based on their friendliness and trustworthiness.
