Netcast: Troubleshooting

Streaming video delivers exciting opportunities to watch KELOLAND News. It gives you the ability to choose when you want to watch a newscast. Unlike other files which must be downloaded in their entirety before viewing, you can begin watching streaming video almost immediately. Your computer will download the pictures bit by bit, creating a steady stream of audio and video.

Connections to the Internet are limited by bandwidth and/or modem speed. This is why streaming video looks different from the video you see on TV. The images are lower quality and not quite as sharp. It is completely normal and should be expected.

There are things you can do to improve the picture quality of streaming video. A few suggestions are listed below. You may also want to visit the Adobe's technical support sites.
