Today, I had a post on my website about one of my commenters who stepped far over the line in their interactions. They actually had the gall to talk about US Senate Candidate Joel Dykstra, and referred to his daughter with a disability in an extremely unflattering way.

I've been doing some looking and searching, trying to figure out who the scumbag is who was saying those things about Dykstra's daughter, when I stumbled across something interesting. Something really, really interesting.

The list above is for the server where all of Tim Johnson's websites are ultimately hosted on a web server in Sioux Falls.  This server is cross referenced with the server below, also operated by the same company. The only difference is that the server below provides some cross reference services for the first server as well as others operated by the host, s1systems.com located and operated in Sioux Falls.

What you're looking at is a log of where several websites registered to US Senator Tim Johnson are hosted. One or two aren't in use, and the rest roll back to the main one, timjohnson.com. Okay.  This is just a section of the server chain that all reference each other for the websites they host. We've established that. Now take a look at some of the other websites hosted by this company. Rallyvacation.com, rms-401k.com, etc.

But then we get to one of those other ones.  Do you know Yvette?  I wasn't acquainted with her personally, until I clicked on her website.

Err... That doesn't look like your typical South Dakota website.  What does Yvette have to say for herself?

with the point of contact being rbonner@sexy-1.com. Here's where the connection gets a little more interesting. Rallyvacation.com, another website noted earlier as being hosted by this company has an interesting banner..

A google search of rallyvacation.com brings up a descriptive banner from an earlier day which notes that they provide "Adult night club management, video production including entertainer booking and modeling."  In fact, they don't just do video production - they distribute it.

You can look them up on the Internet Movie Database, where Sexy-1 Productions is noted as being the distributor of Yvette's Little Secret, starring none other than Yvette Wilde, from the website above.

So not only is Tim Johnson's webhost apparently not just an adult website host, at least in 2001, they were also a porn distributor.

Okay, okay. You're probably saying "PP, this really seems like a stretch." It might, but if you keep digging, it really isn't. In fact, if you go to the point of contact for Rallyvacations.com you get...

Hmmm... What else is at 1323 South Minnesota Avenue?  Why, I think that's an office belonging to Senator Tim Johnson. Or at least his campaign.  And as for the domain, timjohnsonforsd.com, the point of contact effective July 14, 2008 was as follows:

Amazing.  Only in politics.

Oh, the moral to the story?

The person who wrote the vile things about Joel Dykstra and his daughter with a disability?   That was sent through a computer attached to the s1systems.com network.

Imagine that.
