Do I have to get a different TV to get HD? Or do I have to get a box to watch it?
The television you currently watch KELOLAND on right now will continue to work. While all of our news and weather coverage will convert to HD, all of our content will be viewable on any television, whether your TV is standard definition or high definition.

You cannot fully view HD signals on a standard 4:3 television.

If you want to view the high-definition signal, you need an HD-ready TV. Most new televisions sold are capable of providing HD-quality signal. If it is a 'widescreen' model, most are capable of displaying an HD signal. Some older models may require you to purchase an external, digital tuner or cable box.

How can I watch KELO in full HD?
You need to have the right input: either an antenna that is in range of an HD transmitter, or your satellite or cable provider must provide your home with an HD channel package. If you would like to receive HD signals on your television and you subscribe to cable, Dish Network, or DirecTV, contact your provider for details.

Your provider may have KELO available in both standard definition and high definition so make sure to research how to find the HD channel.
