That's because KELO-TV is making the switch from the older analog technology to newer digital technology. But if you haven't prepared for the transition, we're here to help.
The federal government hosts a Web site dedicated completely to all-things DTV. You can access that page by going to our DTV section at KELOLAND.com.
- If you're having trouble setting up your converter box, the site has a step-by-step instructional video in its "Audio-Video" page.
- If you want to see what the digital signal looks like in your area, click on the "Reception Maps" link.
Here you can type in the name of your city and you can see how strong our broadcast signals are and how far you are from our towers. - There's also a list of the most frequently asked questions, from how to improve your DTV signal strength to which antenna is best for your home.
- You can also call the DTV Hotline for help at any time. Highlighting "Get Informed" will show you a link for the FCC's customer service line.
KELOLAND-TV will be answering viewer-submitted questions all week about the DTV conversion. If you have questions about what the transition means to you, you can e-mail us using the address below.
