Eastern SD Authorities Cracking Old Burglary Cases

Authorities have recovered thousands of dollars' worth of stolen property linked to burglaries committed in six eastern South Dakota counties in the past couple of years.

The Yankton County Sheriff's Department says more stolen property is expected to be recovered from the thefts in Beadle, Bon Homme, Clay, Hand, Hutchinson and Yankton counties before the investigation is complete.

Two people have been arrested so far, and authorities are seeking warrants for the arrest of at least two more suspects.
