Sioux Falls Ice Rinks Close Due To Weather

As the mercury in the thermometer keeps rising, area ice rinks continue to melt.

The recent warmer than usual weather has closed the Sioux Falls rinks. All six outdoor skating rinks, two hockey rinks and warming housing are closed Saturday.

The rinks will reopen when ice conditions improve.

We are expected to see an extreme cool down in the next couple of days with temperatures dropping below zero.
