Police are searching for the suspect of robbery late Sunday night in Sioux Falls. They say a black man walked into the Casey's General Store on Sycamore Avenue at 15th Street just before 11 p.m. armed with a butcher knife.
He waved the knife and demanded money from the clerk, who removed the drawer from the register and put it on the counter. The suspect grabbed it, put it into a backpack and left.
The suspect is about 6' tall and weighs between 160 and 175 pounds. He was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, black jeans, black shoes, and a red cloth covering the lower part of his face.
Anyone with information should call police.
This is the second robbery for the chain of stores in Sioux Falls in one a week. Two men robbed the Casey's General Store on North Kiwanis Avenue one week ago, on Sunday, November 4. Sioux Falls police later arrested three Yankton men on robbery charges for that crime.
