SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Police arrested a 73-year-old man in Sioux Falls after they say he crashed his car into several parked cars and a church business office.
They say he was in the parking lot of an apartment building just before midnight when he crashed his car into the side of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Lutheran Synod office building, leaving a gaping hole. He then hit several parked cars and an air conditioning unit for the apartment building behind the church.
Church workers responded quickly Friday morning to patch the hole in the building
Police say alcohol was a factor in this crash but charges are still pending against the driver. His name is not being released.
A 77-year-old female passenger in the car was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
