Clothing Swap Held At Museum Of Visual Materials
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

From classic to casual, you could find it all at this closet raid.

On Sunday, the Museum of Visual Materials held its fall clothing exchange. Women cleaned out their closets, brought the clothes they didn’t want anymore to the museum and got the chance to browse through the clothes that other women didn't want.

“It’s a great way to recycle what’s been in your closet that you maybe were bored of or didn’t wear anymore,” organizer Jessica Elofson said.

And Elofson says the event’s been a huge success so far.

“At about ten minute to two [o’clock], people where ready to shop, but we held them back until two,” Elofson said.

Everyone who donated got ten tickets, so you could walk away with ten clothing items of your choice.

And what’s left over will be donated to the Career Closet and Union Gospel Mission.

The Museum of Visual Materials holds the clothing exchange twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall.
