Volunteers Of America Dakotas Leader Resigns
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Volunteers of America, Dakotas has lost its leader. The nonprofit organization's longtime President and CEO Pam Bollinger resigned just before Christmas, according to those close to the organization.

Bollinger was the face of VOA for 26 years. In a statement released Friday, Volunteers of America, Dakotas wished Bollinger well and praised her years of service.

The organization has already begun the search for a new leader according to the news release.

The Board of Directors appointed Dennis Hoffman as interim CEO. Hoffman was previously a major gifts officer. He also helped lead VOA's Chamber of Commerce Community Appeals Campaign which wrapped up last year, raising more than $1 million for a housing facility for at-risk young mothers and their children.

Volunteers of America could not make anyone available for an interview on Friday, referring us instead to the press release. KELOLAND News also attempted to contact Bollinger. Those calls were not returned.
