Almost a month later, one mother is still coming to terms with her son's suicide and says she is taking it one day at a time.
We introduced you to Tabatha Welsh earlier this month after her 16-year-old son, Derrick Kester, took his own life. She says the Lincoln High School student was bullied and hopes her son's story will help others realize the dangers of bullying.
It's already had a big impact on the community with more than 8,000 responses on Facebook through KELOLAND News. Now she hopes it will help make a difference for other kids and parents.
Tonight on KELOLAND News, we'll talk with Welsh again to find out how this support has impacted her.
