Weekend outings could take a slight detour because more hard hats and orange cones out on Sioux Falls roads.
Beginning Saturday, the traffic lights will be turned off at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and 14th Street as contractors work on the signals. Instead, drivers will come to a temporary four-way stop.
Officials are encouraging drivers to take an alternative route.
The work is expected to be finished by Monday.
