Despite soaring gas prices across the country, the cost to fill up your tank is dropping in KELOLAND.
The average price of a regular gallon of gasoline has dropped four cents since last Sunday in South Dakota according to AAA.
However, national prices jumped four cents higher over the past week.
“Under the circumstances, I am elated. Out in L.A. and even back east, they're paying a lot more than we are. I'm shocked that these prices are coming down. That's what got me. Wow. last time it was like $3.70, $3.80 something. Now we're down to $3.59 and I have no squabble, not at this particular junction,” Frank Jordan said.
Despite the recent drop, prices are still 32 cents higher than this time last year.
