The annual ‘Festival of Bands Parade’ will be held in downtown Sioux Falls on Saturday, starting at 8:45 a.m.
Because of the parade, some roads will be closed in the downtown area.
The parade is on Main Avenue from 14th Street to 6th Street. The area will be shut down starting around 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
The staging area for the bands will be between 14th Street and 18th Street on Phillips, Main and Dakota Avenues. This area will be closed off starting at 6 a.m.
The de-staging area will be on Main Avenue from 6th Street to 3rd Street.
The parade is expected to last until noon. Once the parade is over, the streets will be opened to traffic.
