Read For The Record At Lowell Elementary

Elementary students in Sioux Falls learned an important lesson about friendship Thursday through reading.

KELOLAND's Brady Mallory got to have some fun and help out by reading to kindergarteners at Lowell Elementary School for Read For the Record Day.

It's a national campaign to promote literacy in schools across the country.

Millions of kids read the book Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad.  The book teaches kids to treat their friends nicely and never be bossy.
