SD Man Pleads Guilty To Assaulting Federal Officer

A South Dakota man has pleaded guilty to assaulting a federal officer.

Authorities allege that 27-year-old Richard Wolf Guts, of Parmelee, resisted a deputy U.S. marshal and spit on him at the federal courthouse in Rapid City in June.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Wolf Guts also is known as Gabriel Broken Leg. He faces up to eight years in prison when he is sentenced next Feb. 25.
