Teenage Murder Suspect In Court In Pierre

PIERRE, SD -

A Pierre teenager accused of shooting and killing his friend was in court on Friday.

Sixteen-year-old Braiden McCahren was formally charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree and aggravated assault.

Authorities say McCahren shot and killed 16-year-old Dalton Williams and pointed a gun at another teen in December.

He pleaded not guilty to all the charges and is expected back in court for a motion hearing in three weeks.
