Governor's Place Wager On SDSU Vs. NDSU Game

PIERRE, SD -
South Dakota and North Dakota's governors have renewed a wager for this weekend's game.
If South Dakota State University loses, Governor Dennis Daugaard will treat North Dakota's governor Jack Dalrymple to two buffalo steak dinners.
If North Dakota loses, Dalyrmple says he'll send two baskets filled with Cloverdale sausage, ham and ribs to the governor's mansion in Pierre.
The stakes are increased because after NDSU beat SDSU earlier this month in the annual "Dakota Marker" matchup between the schools and NDSU won 20-17. The governors have now waged a "double-or-nothing" on this weekend's battle.
Saturday's 3 p.m. game at the Fargodome marks the 100th meeting between the two teams.
