The U.S. and South Dakota flags will be flying across the Missouri River bridge in honor of New Year's Day.
The patriotic event is a fundraising program promoted by the Pierre-Fort Pierre Exchange Club.
The flags are posted across the bridge on various holidays.
South Dakota Intrastate Pipeline Company of Pierre is sponsoring Tuesday's display.
