SD Gov Appoints New Third Judicial Circuit Judge

Gov. Dennis Daugaard has appointed a Clear Lake attorney as the next judge in South Dakota's Third Judicial Circuit.

Deuel County State's Attorney Greg Stoltenburg will succeed Judge David Gienapp, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Stoltenburg has been a member of a Clear Lake law firm since 1996 and has been Deuel County's lead prosecutor since 2000.

The Third Judicial Circuit includes 14 counties in eastern South Dakota.
