Airline To Add Flights In Pierre

Pierre Mayor Laurie Gill says the city will have four round-trip flights a day to both Minneapolis and Denver starting December 1.

Gill made the announcement Thursday.

Great Lakes Airlines is the city's only commercial airline. Currently, Great Lakes has three round-trip flights a day to Denver and two flights daily to Minneapolis.

Gill says the increased flights shows the faith that Great Lakes Airlines has in Pierre.
