OK Man Injured In Semi Rollover In Pierre

PIERRE, SD -
An Oklahoma man suffered minor injuries in a semi rollover in Pierre Wednesday morning.
Authorities say 50-year-old Robert Sharpe III was hauling hay near the intersection of Garfield and Wells in Pierre when the semi he was driving had brake failure issues. The semi tipped over, resulting in $50,000 worth of damage to the vehicle.
There was also some damage to a near-by traffic light.
Sharpe was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre. He was citied for driving with a suspended license and for not having a commercial driver license.
