Three students were hurt following a crash involving a school bus near Mitchell.
The Department of Public Safety says there were 15 students on board the Hanson School District bus when it was rear ended by a pickup truck. The bus had stopped to pick up two kids from a home on Highway 38 10 miles east of Mitchell. The driver of the pickup, 23-year-old Arlo North of Howard, didn't notice the bus right away and crashed into it.
Three students were taken to a Mitchell hospital. Two have already been treated and released; the third is being kept for observation.
The Highway Patrol is investigating.
