BROOKINGS, SD -

A National Geographic wildlife photographer will speak at South Dakota State University on Tuesday and Wednesday.

South Dakota native Joe Riis will give presentations on Pronghorn Passage, other conservation photo stories and conservation photography around the world in the Northern Plains Biostress Lab.

Riis will share his photographs and talk about his two-year-long project photographing the Grand Teton pronghorn migration. He'll also share photos from his recent National Geographic assignments that have taken him to four different continents.

The sessions are Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The presentations are cosponsored by the Department of Natural Resource Management and the Brookings Wildlife Federation.
