The former bandleader of Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show" is scheduled to play at South Dakota State University on Tuesday.
Trumpeter Doc Severinsen will perform at the Larson Concert Hall in the SDSU Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m.
The Woodbine Productions concert will help raise funds for SDSU Music Department scholarships.
Tickets are $28 to $38.
It's been 20 years since Severinsen's 30-year run with "The Tonight Show" ended with Carson's retirement.
Severinsen performed with the SDSU Symphonic Band in 1967 for its spring concert in the barn, five years after he started playing with the Tonight Show band.
