We are getting word that voters in Sioux Falls aren't the only ones being faced with a long wait at the polls.
One viewer tells us that the line outside a polling place at the fire hall in Brandon snakes about a halfway around the building and the wait is nearing one hour.
You can add problems finding a parking spot when you get there; it is absolutely packed.
KELOLAND's Austin Hoffman has been waiting in line for about a half hour. It's moving along pretty steadily, but it is absolutely packed. Although it's difficult to get a head count of all the people, 200 to 300 would be a pretty good estimate.
If you are at home thinking, "I should probably get to the polls," you should do that sooner rather than later. There's probably going to be a good line as more people get off work in Sioux Falls and want to let their voice be heard.
After the polls close, the results will begin streaming in.
