NSU Marching Band Performs For President
WASHINGTON, DC -

The Northern State University marching band was among the dozens of bands to perform for President Barack Obama during his inaugural parade Monday.

The band of more than 100 members found out about a month ago that they were chosen to march down Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Marching Wolves also performed for George W. Bush in 2005 during his inaugural parade.

This year's parade featured more than 8,800 people, which also included students from Tiospa Zina Tribal School. Sioux Falls native and South Dakota State University alumnus CW4 Frederick Ellwein also marched in the parade as the Commander/Band Master of the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps.
