ABERDEEN, SD -
An Aberdeen school bus driver suffered minor injuries when the bus was rear-ended by a garbage truck.
Police say the two students on the bus were not hurt in the Wednesday crash. Twenty-four-year-old driver Kristi Lappegard was treated at a local hospital and released.
Authorities say the bus had stopped at railroad tracks and was beginning to move across when it was struck from behind. Forty-nine-year-old garbage truck driver Curtis Duvall was cited for careless driving.
