I have some straight run baby standard size cochin chickens left that are just 3+ weeks old. Started and ready to go. Should be a mix of roosters and pullets but not sexed yet.

Tired of having to open gates all the time driving in and out of pastures, I have the fix. Hi I'm Gregory Hansen in Dell Rapids, SD and I"m building specialy designed gates that all you do is drive over them and they do the rest. No more getting out and having to open the gates. Cows will not push them because it move a little and it scares them. They are very sturdy; by what i mean sturdy they can hold the weight of a feeder wagon. Made one five years ago and have never had any of the metal bend or brake on it. The gate can and have had anything drive of it. Im able to make them to 20 feet wide. If you've got young kids-this is the pony for you. She's a quiet, calm, GENTLE horse for all kids to ride. I've got 3 boys ages 2-7 and they've all ridden her the past year that we've owned her. Missy would make the perfect 4-H/show horse for a beginner rider to advanced rider. She excels in showmanship both Western and English. We have shown her in Western, English, Trail and Reigning and does well in them all. She has taken my daughter to State every year! She is great at play day's too! She knows her leads, works on leg cues and voice commands. She is the type of horse that you can send your young rider into the arena on and she is safe and solid. Up to date on vaccinations, wormed, recently shod on fronts and teeth floated last fall. Daughter no longer wants to show so unfortunately we must let her go. Million Dollar Dee, aka, Drifter is a double homozygous stallion who will never have a red foal and it will always have white spots. He is easy to catch and work with though as a coming 5 yr old stallion does need an experienced handler. He has covered a few mares easily for me, hand or pasture breeds. Leads, loads, tacks up easy, easy to catch. Does not like geldings or other male horses at all. he would probably make a much better gelding. Would consider taking less if he buyer had him gelded before he left. Good with his feet, just had them trimmed yesterday, never been lame. Has been around cattle but never worked them.

Offering for sale a Yearling filly. I call her Morning Star. She was born bay with a white star on her forehead. This spring she has started to turn grey (I keep seeing more grey hairs all over her body) and by next year should be even more grey. I kept an older half-sister that did the same thing.
She is mostly Quarter Horse although has some Appaloosa in her background. A great project filly to work with and she should really grow and fill out more this summer. Will have some endurance and speed as a saddle prospect in the future. Currently not halter broke.

Catalena Dry Doc is an April 2001 model mare. Super disposition. Great bloodlines. Broke the best. When we purchased her we were told she had been on all kinds of trail rides to the Black Hills, etc. We used her some on cattle and just everyday riding. My grandson was 10 when he started riding her and got along with her great. She has a great stop, really nice rein and headset. backs. trails good. can keep in hot wire or just regular wire. Her teeth were really long when we got her and had them floated. She does not like to have her head like to jerk the lead rope but I am guess that had to do with when her teeth were long and her jaws were sore. otherwise she has no issues. current on vaccinations and worming. I am refocusing my horse riding goals and, as a result, selling some of my best horses. This 16 hand, bay gelding is the pride of my farm. "Indy" is a beautiful, bay gelding out of Spanish Sky Watch and Poco Pueblo Bar. I showed Indy at halter as a yearling and he received reserve champion in his class. I started him as a two year old under saddle and found that he quickly learned a variety of skills. As he has matured, he has gained a greater understanding of moving all points of his body and has a walk and trot to ride all day on the trails. My coach believes that he would be best suited to hunter under saddle or one of the speed/roping events. None of which I participate in. He has alot of speed, but I do not enjoy speed events. He has not been ridden yet this year and I do not believe he is a kids horse right now, but could be with a little time. For these reasons I feel that he is not the right horse for a novice rider. He will need to go to a good home that will provide a firm, loving hand, lots of attention and the ability to challenge his mind.

Katy is a four year old mare that was recued when she was a weanling. She comes from an outstanding registed bloodline, but her former owner failed to register her mother, so she sells as a grade horse. She is close to 15 hands high, has a flaxen mane and tail and has a beautiful golden coat. She has excellend ground manners, loves attention and is a very easy keeper. We feed her grass, with a touch of alfalfa and you can see from her pictures that she is stout and beautifully proportioned. She is not broke to ride and is being used as a companion horse right now. I have bathed her, given her yearly shots, wormed and stands well for the farrier.
She would be an excellent 4H project or as a companion for an older, retiring horse as she gets along with everyone.
She must go to a good home that will love and care for her.

Bear is a 13yr old BLM gelding,green broke gelding.Very affectionate He has had lots of ground training and has been saddled and lunged,has been mounted bareback and with saddle.His only down fall is sometimes he will fear buck,as if you kick him he gets scared and bucks,he has only done this to me once in the time i have had him, but until this issue is resolved he needs someone with experience and a soft hand to work with him. He does stand tied,leads,bathes,loads very well, front feet are good, backs we are working on,he doesnt kick or bit no bad habits. For sale are two miniature horses that have been running all spring and currently with a Mini Donkey Jack. They are all very friendly and easy to be around, including the Jack. Rosie is an 8 year old chesnut mare, she is 3/4 thoroughbred and 1/4 quarter horse. She stands about 16.2 hands or so. She has 3 white socks, though it is hard to see in some of the pictures as she just crossed the creek and her legs are muddy. She is broke to ride, does not neck rein right now, but would not take much to teach her to. She has never bucked, reared or kicked. She is pretty quiet and easy to work with. We have 4 young horses to work with this year and do not have time for her, and we dont need 5 horses. She would make a great barrel horse, she has the speed. Late Night 'lil Queen is a five-year-old registered mare. She has two stars on her forehead and a right hind coronet. She has nice structure to her head and is beautiful! I bought her from an auction last spring and trained her over the summer. She loads like a dream, hardly ever spooks, and loves to go on trail rides. She loves attention, is a sweetheart, and really wants to please. She is getting a refresher from me at the moment and acts like this is nothing new. She picks up her front feet easily, but could use a little more work on the back ones. She has no problems with tarps, traffic, or loud noises. She has had the English saddle on a few times, but is not trained in English and not for a beginner yet, but could be eventually. She needs a good home with someone who can provide her with a job. Well mannered miniature gelding, 33 1/4 inches tall. Has a show history, but has been only a pet since we purchased him in 2009. Life changes force sale of this amazing little horse. Comes with his cart that is near new and has removable wheels so snow runners can be put on. Do not own the snow runners. His harness was purchased from Ozark Mountain and comes with an addition extension piece as he tends to get fat. Harness is kept in a very nice bag made specifically for it. Does your horse buck? Does he kick out sideways when you ask for the canter? Many horses come off-the-track back sore. If their hips are locked it can cause what might appear to be a serious lameness issue. Before you panic, call a chiropractor/equine sports. Most horses will benefit from an adjustment or two. They run and play in the pasture and can land wrong off a jump and tweak their back as well. Zoey is a 5 yr old (on April 15, 2013) registered APHA black mare with white socks, a white spot on her forehead and a unique brown ring around the base of her nose. She is almost 16 hands high and has a nice, calm personality. She has had 90 days of professional training and is very trainable. She has been ridden outside of the training time. She is willing and ready for someone to mold her into their type of horse. She is gentle and has been given lots of love and attention since she was gotten at the age of 4 months. She is up to date on shots and was just wormed and trimmed. She is an excellent prospect for 4-H, western pleasure, trail and more if desired. She carries herself nicely and looks good in the arena. She stands for the farrier, doesn’t mind bathes, has never bit, kicked or bucked and loves attention. She is not finished with training and needs someone to finish her since I have not been able to. She was doing good and learning quickly. She does great with an experienced rider and does want to please. I am considered an amatuer rider and was doing quite well with her. She always comes up to the fence when you approach. She will go out on her own and has been ridden near a busy hi-way.

"Dawson" is a 12 year old beautiful dark buckskin gelding. He is out of Skipa Gold Buck, by Skipa Gold Duke and Lady Poco Honey by Two Eyed Sammy. This horse has been on trail rides, been to horse shows and carried the flag for our local playdays. He has a very easy going nature about him, is first to greet you at the gate and gets along well with other horses. I can bathe him, trim him, he stands well for the farrier, loads in a trailer and backs out freely. I ride two handed, so he does not neck rein as well as I would like, but he is a fast learner. He cues well off of your leg or rein, side passes, and changes gears with a cluck or kiss. While I have had many children on him, I would not say he is for a novice rider. I think he needs a boy or girl around 12 years old, to love him, ride him and grow along with him, however, he will take anybody on the trail and keep them safe with his surefootedness. He is up date date with his shots and wormed regularly. This horse won't last long.

CJ Nitros Miss Boon is a great granddaughter to Peptoboonsmal (top five cutting sires, offspring has won over 16 million dollars). She has been around anything and everything. Tex, a 16 year old red roan registerd gelding. He is a great breakaway horse, has alot of power and will get you right were you need to be. I roped consistant 2-3 second runs on him and he has taken me to state many times and we have won many buckles. He requires a good rider just because he has so much power. He does have mild lameness on his front leg. Had it since he was 6 or so from over reaching. When I rope on him I would just bute him and he would do just fine. I've aked the vet and he said just go ahead and use him as long as you can, and the only reason I'm not using him now is because I'm a full time college student and dont college rodeo anymore. My neighbor girl roped off of him this last summer and he did really well, they got his front legs injected with Amiglyde and he did really good. If u are looking for a trail horse he would be great. I just know he has so much potential as a breakway horse still and hate to turn him in early when I know he still has it. He also has barrel and pole experience, he took me to state in poles a couple years and would do great for someone who is just wanting to play around with them.

Tired of having to open gates all the time driving in and out of pastures, I have the fix. Hi I'm Gregory Hansen in Dell Rapids, SD and I"m building specialy designed gates that all you do is drive over them and they do the rest. No more getting out and having to open the gates. Cows will not push them because it move a little and it scares them. They are very sturdy; by what i mean sturdy they can hold the weight of a feeder wagon. Made one five years ago and have never had any of the metal bend or brake on it. The gate can and have had anything drive of it. Im able to make them to 20 feet wide.
