School of Mines campus, Rapid City DESCRIPTION: Do you really have a handle on the things that cost your business money? Are you as prepared as you need to be to handle incidents? How can you improve your bottom line in this tight economy? This interactive, hands-on workshop will teach principles of conducting assessments of work areas based on risk, environment, continuity of operations, efficiency, health, safety, quality, or emergency planning. Participants will spend the first half of the workshop on the key steps. The second half of the workshop will be spent completing example assessments. Participants will come away with skills to complete assessments of their work areas in an organized, prioritized, and efficient manner.
