The Big Day
Wanda Crissman and Korey Freudenthal, Groton, were united in marriage on June 30th, at Tacoma Park Place, Columbia, Pastor Jay Dean Haaland officiated the ceremony. Parents of the bride are Melvin and Sandy Breitkreitz, Spearfish and the late Ronald Lagan. Parents of the groom are Gene and Mary Freudenthal, Hecla. The bride was escorted by her brother, Curtis Lagan, Gettysburg. She wore a white royal satin and tulle overlay strapless gown with scalloped sweetheart neckline, covered with crystal beading and embroidery falling to the scalloped hem of the semi-cathedral train. She carried a cascading bouquet of 3 dozen Forever Young dark red roses accented with rhinestone crystal pins and greenery. Maid of honor was Paula Winther, Mina. Bridesmaids were Lauren Crissman, Aberdeen, Leslie Melius, Faulkton, Holly Emery, Aberdeen, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Faith Crissman, daughter of the bride, Alexa Rossman, Mina, friend of the bride. Bestman was Charles Dirks, Groton, uncle of the groom. Groomsmen were Curtis Kerslake, Savage, MN, cousin of groom, Paul Winther, Mina, and Travis Sukut, Hecla. Ushers were Dale Ringgenberg, Groton, Jeff Ringgenberg, Webster, all friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Shaun and Adam Emery, Aberdeen, friends of the couple. A wedding reception and dance was held at Tacoma Park Place Korey, Wanda and Faith are making their home in Groton where Korey basis his own construction business.
