The Big Day
Amanda Elizabeth DeCurtins and Brady Hart Prince were married on June 19, 2011. Pastor Mark Bjorlo officiated the afternoon ceremony in the backyard of the bridegroom's childhood home on Perch Lake in Baxter, Minn. A reception followed the wedding ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Philip and Lora DeCurtins of Ramona and Mark and Rosie Prince of Baxter.
The bride wore a fit-and-flare style dress with a sweetheart neckline and a fitted, pleated bodice. The bottom flared from a flower on the hip into layers of organza ruffles. The one-shoulder strap was covered with flowers and accent beading. She wore a matching homemade flower in her hair.Their wedding colors were moss green, chocolate brown, cream and gold.
The bride's attendants were "Best Woman" Alexis Kolb and "Best Brother" Christian DeCurtins.The bridegroom's attendants were "Best Man" Darrin Prince and "Best Brother" Aaron DeCurtins."Little Princess" (Flower Girl) was Berkley DeCurtins, and "Little Princes" (Ring Bearers) were Beckham DeCurtins and Atley Skeie.The bride's personal attendants were Deseree Johnston and Maggie Hedlund.
The bride earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication and Marketing in 2009 and her Master of Science degree in Communication Studies from Minnesota State University-Mankato. She currently teaches Communication Studies at MSU-Mankato and is a wedding blogger. She will share the details of their wedding during the month of September, 2011 on her blog.
The bridegroom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Institutional Finance in June, 2011 and is going into his career in law enforcement.
They are at home in Mankato following a honeymoon to Jamaica.
