Sandra grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and graduated from Washington High School in 1989. Sandra Hofer graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul in 1993 with a BA in Elementary Education & a Minor in Early Childhood Education. In 2002 Sandra graduated with a MA in Childhood Education from Concordia University, St. Paul. In 2007 she received her certificate in Child Care Center Administration & her Director's Credentials through NAEYC. She is the director of Northwestern College Child Development Center in St. Paul.

Harold grew up in Mounds View, MN. After working in the printing industry and as a dock truck driver, the future groom currently works full time for First Student as a school bus charter driver

Sandra & Harold met in a Young Adult's Group at Calvary Baptist Church in Roseville, MN. They plan to reside in Shoreview, MN

The brides parents are Derrold & Marilyn Hofer of Sioux Falls, SD and the grooms parents are Aleta and the late Frederick Baty of Mounds View, MN
