Areas of light snow continue to move across KELOLAND this morning. We’ve had about 4” in the Pierre area with around 2-4” in the Black Hills region. As a result…a few schools will be running late…so keep an eye on closeline. Snowfall amounts in the east have been generally under 1”.
Highs today will be in the single digits above zero with a north wind. That will keep windchill factors around -15 to -25. With clearing skies tonight…temperatures will fall to -10 to -20. Tomorrow with be mostly sunny…but still very cold with highs in the single digits above zero in the east…with 20s in the west.
Wednesday will be warmer, with highs returning to the 20s in the east…with highs around 40 in Rapid City. That warmer weather should continue into Thursday.
