Light snow and flurries will continue to affect northeastern and eastern KELOLAND today as a clipper system move through the region. Highs will stay in the 30s in eastern KELOLAND with strong NW winds of 20-30+mph. Look for just minor accumulations with some of the snow showers in SW MN.
Tonight will be very cold with lower in the mid teen in the northeast…with lower 20s in western SD under mostly clear skies.
Thanksgiving Day will be mostly sunny across KELOLAND with highs in the upper 30s in the east…with lower 50s in both Pierre and Rapid City. Look for lighter winds tomorrow as well.
Warmer weather will overspread KELOLAND on Friday with highs into the upper 40s in the northeast…to near 60 in the west and southwest. Mild weather will continue into Saturday ahead of cold front set to arrive on Sunday. That front will drop the temperature for the last half of the weekend with areas of flurries and snow showers possible.
