The man accused of driving drunk, hitting a man with his car and driving off appeared in court Monday afternoon.

Eric Oldre, 29, faces several charges including vehicular battery and his third DUI.

Witnesses say the Sioux Falls man didn't show any signs of slowing down before striking 21-year-old Beau Brady, early Friday morning at 41st Street and Western Avenue.

Brady remains in a Sioux Falls hospital in critical care. Family members say he's making progress but has a long road ahead of him.
