A 24-year-old St. Francis man will serve nearly three years in prison for driving drunk and killing a White River man.

Erick Eisenbraun earlier pleaded guilty in federal court in Pierre to involuntary manslaughter for the May 2 death of William
Stands, who was walking in the ditch. The accident happened on U.S. Highway 18 in Todd County on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. Eisenbraun was sentenced to 33 months in custody.
