Light rain and drizzle continues to move across eastern KELOLAND…with snowfall in the northeast near Milbank and Sisseton. 2” has been reported in Milbank as of 6am, areas of fog are dense in south-central SD, and a few light showers will move north of Rapid City this morning. Highs today will be warmest in the west with 50s likely this afternoon. Pierre will be in the upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies. Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, and Watertown will all be in the lower 40s today.
Tonight looks mostly cloudy with lows in the lower 30s. Another weak system will drop in North Dakota tomorrow afternoon in eastern KELOLAND…so some light rain and snow showers are possible. Meanwhile, west-river will be warmer tomorrow with highs in the mid to upper 50s. We are expecting a warming trend this weekend with many spots in the 50s and 60s by Sunday. Another storm system will arrive in KELOLAND by Tuesday with a good chance of rain. This system will NOT be as cold…so mainly rain is expected across the region.
